How to Replace the Console Battery on a 2GIG GC3 Panel

Please Note: This system requires a Li-Polymer 823990 10-000014-001 (3800mAh/3.7V) battery, which can be purchased directly from OverWatch Security by calling 1 (877) 359-4407 or emailing support@overwatchus.com.
Step-by-Step Instructions
- Ensure that the alarm system is disarmed before proceeding further.
- Loosen the bottom screw, from the control panel (the screw islocated at the bottom center of the panel itself).
- There is a plastic strap that is located inside the control panel. It can be used to hook the panel to the mounted backplate while you work.
- Remove the batttery by disconnecting the battery terminal and removing the old battery.
- Insert the new battery into the battery slot within the control panel. Reconnect the new battery cables to the console terminal.
Please note:
You may have messages and alerts on the control panel indicately faults or troubles. To accept and clear those messages, please do as follows:
- Press the message icon on the top bar.

- Press “Alerts” to view alerts. You will then be able to select acknowledge or clear to remove the existing alerts after you have viewed them.
- Please note that if the problem has not been resolved, the trouble fault may return. If it does, please do not hesitate to contact our OverWatch Security customer support line at 1(877) 359-4407.
